  >The Cat: So, what is it?
  >Kryten: I've never seen one before - no one has - but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
  >Rimmer: A *white* hole?
  >Kryten: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A black hole sucks time and matter out
of the Universe; a white hole returns it.
  >Lister: So, that thing's spewing time... [donning his fur-lined hat] ... back into the Universe?
  >Kryten: Precisely. That's why we're experiencing these curious time phenomena on board.

  >Lister: [minus the hat] So, that thing's spewing time...
  >Lister: [donning his fur-lined hat, again] ... back into the Universe?
  >Kryten: Precisely. That's why we're experiencing these curious time phenomena on board.
  >Lister: What time phenomena?
  >Kryten: Like just then, when time repeated itself.
  >The Cat: So, what is it?

  >The Cat: Only joking.

Time is occurring in random pockets. The laws of causality no longer apply. An action no longer
  leads to a consequence.

This thread is humorous because we are emulating the subject matter of the flash posted in the OP
(which is an excerpt from the British science fiction comedy show 'Red Dwarf'). Everyone takes
turns repeating lines from the flash in an increasingly disorganized order, much like the
characters in the flash who are experiencing random fluctuations in the flow of time. This makes
for a very funny thread for everyone involved.

  >So, what is it?
  >I've never seen one before - no one has - but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
  >A white hole?
  >Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A black hole sucks time and matter out of the
Universe; a white hole returns it.
  >So, that thing's spewing time back into the Universe?
  >Precisely. That's why we're experiencing these curious time phenomena on board.

  > A *white* hole?
