Whenever I think about the two, love and hate, I think about how simple it is to change between the two, like a rarefaction of perspective off a mirror you can look at differently. They're entirely subjective, but then again, so is fear, but a little more concrete. Fear would be like replacing the mirror with a stone that you peer over to see the world around you. The world can either be scary or not, and if it's not, what feeling is that? The opposite of fear? I'd say the opposite of fear is the absence of fear. It's possible to love something you fear. It's possible to hate something you don't fear. Then again, it's possible to love something you hate and hate something you love...
