never heard of it.
Berserk is one of the damn things that are so revolutionary, they rarely get continued. simply
because the story is so good and noone wants to ruin it.
I see the same with one piece and many other japanese stuff.
I like to use my imagination a lot and with the japs it is very hard to come up with a better
story.
Even if it is totally nonesense, the implementation is just amazing.

Sorry, what I meant was is that despite - or even therefore - the vastly exaggerated stories and
pro- and antagonists adding or subtracting something from it soils the experience.
The manga artist wants to tell a story, the anime artist tries his best to introduce it into his
domain without subtracting or adding too much.
Who am I to challenge any of that.

One Piece still falls in the cash cow genre.
It's like if you imagine music genre that you think is mostly bad, but has some gems. Would you
listen to the entire library of the genre to get to the gems?
And in this case the gems don't have much standalone value, so in order for the gems to be gems

It is so nice of you guys how you express your thoughts about some manga/anime you don't even
like.
I appreciate you extending my mind in this particular example. I understand that those stuff
becomes - as it it very likely intended by the artists - an obsession for the fans.
I don't binge watch anythin anymore.
The experience is much better with at least one day inbedween to reflect what has happened in the
previous series.

See, I'm the opposite.
It bugs me when shows feel too episodic. Almost like there's no hiding that the story's been
packed up tight into packages for retail. Binging on at least a movie's length provides some
story progression and character development. That's also why I can't stand filler.

I'm over 30 years old and have been holden up with a lot of shit of my environment. I learned to
become patient and to observe.
I know the story is very short and nothing is as bad as just rally through a good one and go
through the agony of it ending so fast and not having had enjoyed it as much.
Those poor bastards take a week to come up with that shit.
I owe it to them to reflekt the previous series as long as they need to publish the next.
