It was way better when it was just that short clip of the violin bit. It sounds like you took an
orchestral piece and then added 10 cent fruity loop kicks to it to make a beat.
Quality > Quantity.

I mean, that's definitely not the only thing I did.
But I'm trying to decide whether I want to go with a straight remix and feature most of the piece
without too much of my interference,
or do something completely different with small bits of sampled melody.

Also I'm using basic Ableton loops, not FL studio. I'm probably going to replace the drum loops
with better ones, or tweak them enough to make them not sound like cheap garbage. They're just
acting as stand-ins for now.

because the long violin intro makes me think I'm about to enjoy some Danse Macabre, and then you
trick me into your shitty ripoff. Sample the original, but use it as raw elements to make
something very different, and you'll piss off a lot less of us important internet critics.
