Hype and popularity will do that to a userbase. That and the people who never shut the fuck up
about this series are as bad as the ones who think SAO isn't mediocre as fuck.
It's definitely one of the better series of this year, but doesn't really deserve the 8.5x rating
it has on MAL. It's entertaining as fuck but could use higher production values all around.

Honestly say what you will about the quality of this show overall, but I seriously got lost in
this song. I just sat there watching the snow pile up on their bodies shitting myself how epic
the music sounded.

oh no, i was spoiled! have been waiting forever for him to reach a checkpoint that makes it
impossible for him to undo something the wants to undo. had to happen eventually.
i didn't enjoy the whale fight in the last episode. it was the usual "nobody important died on
our side". they just lost a couple of nameless nobodies against a whale that apparently have
caused trouble for 400 years.
knocking down a huge tree that supposed to fall on the whale? first of all wouldn't it have been
better to focus the explosion that cut the tree on the whale instead (we'd have to invent our own
reason as to why that couldn't be done) and second of all it's extremely unlikely it would fall
exactly where the whale is. also what's up with the "my sword can't reach it" comment from that
swordswoman, just throw her up using the wolfguy like they did in the previous episode.
inconsistency sucks.
maybe im asking too much from an anime but i am disappoint, was enjoying it too much in the
previous episodes
