So much attention to the little details...good flash is a lost art.

Yes, but did you click on the words in the e-mail after the movie was over? Like "crying" and
"brudder"?
>> [_] Anonymous 07/30/16(Sat)01:53:40 No.3123946
you can click "homestar crying" and "Li´l Brudder" at the end for two eastereggs. something like
that isn't possible in a video.
man, this guy put so much effort into his work. in these days you didn't make any internet money
either, i don't even think he used ads on his site if i remember correctly.

apple didn't let flash into iOS so they could make more money on apps. in the beginning most apps
on the store had existed as a flash before.
google didn't let flash be published on youtube, making pros abandon the awesome format since you
gotta upload to youtube for to get the big bucks. they could have easily stripped away
actionscript that was harmful. then google trashtalk flash, making people think its a bad format.
of course people use exploits when they allow flash in their ads, exploits are everywhere not
just in flash.
of course im not forgetting adobe either, who has really not maintained the format well at all.
the additions to it has been very poor and almost non-existant. flash pro never really got
anything useful in years. adobe just dropped flash player for android because it was basically
"not worth it".

Damn, is that why Flash is dying?
Well, maybe HTML5 can fill the void? ... :/ Guess we'll see...

there's also that little fiasco where flash decided to be a little bit transparent about what
they were doing by basically saying "hey, there's a big security issue with this version of
flash, and we're like 99% sure it's impossible for somebody to have successfully found and
exploited this hole, and we're gonna have it fixed up in no time, already almost ready to patch!"
and everybody was a giant idiot, branded it a massive hive of malware and viruses, and dropped it
like a hot rock.
it really didn't help, and I'm glad it didn't stick and become a lasting thing.
