If the stripes were horizontal, not vertical, the it was probably Germany.
> I don't have to learn shit
Same with me, I'm Australian and every relevant non-english country already speaks english.

Dude, you're an Aussiebro? That's sweet, what are you, like an hour off of Japan's time or
something? I work graveyard jobs so I can talk to my nip friends. How's the winter treating you?

>an hour off of Japan's time
yep, It's 9:45PM here
>How's the winter treating you?
I live in the subtropics so winters are still pretty warm, there's only been a few nights below
10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheight).
Graveyard jobs sounds interesting, what does that involve?

>yep, It's 9:45PM here
Oh ok, so you're an hour ahead of them. I was thinking it would be an hour behind, but that makes
sense I guess.
>I live in the subtropics so winters are still pretty warm, there's only been a few nights below
10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheight).
Oh shit, that's nice. I just moved to the midwest a couple of months ago (a little east of the
center of the U.S. - Illinois specifically) and they say the winters get cold as fuck here, like
-10°F. I grew up about an hour away from the west coast though, and it stays pretty warm there
for the most part too, not that warm though. It usually only gets to maybe 30°F or so at the
coldest, save for rare exceptions. Snow is really rare (I'm from the Portland, Oregon area).
Also, you guys use the metric system? I wish America did that too to be honest. Mostly because
I'm a weeb learning Japanese and I get tired of looking up conversions all the fucking time to
know what the hell my buddies are saying when they use those measurements. But anyways.
>Graveyard jobs sounds interesting, what does that involve?
Well I don't know if you guys use the same term over there, but a 'graveyard job' means a job
that's worked on the other side of the clock, like during the night. I've worked a couple of
different jobs the past few years at night, mainly as a hotel night auditor and security guard. I
just quit doing a homebuilding job though, and thinking of getting a part time doing nighttime
freight or something at a local store since I have some cash banked.
I'm fuckin bloggin it up but seeing's how I'm drinking I don't really give a shit. Fuck you /f/ (<

-20°F is crazy, I don't even know what that'd be like, I haven't seen snow since I was 5.
>I don't know if you guys use the same term over there
It's 'graveyard shift' over hear, although I probably should have figured out what it meant. My
dumb ass thought you literally worked at a graveyard for a minute. Good that you have some cash,
what's nighttime freight?
>I'm fuckin bloggin it up but seeing's how I'm drinking I don't really give a shit
I'm drinking to. We may be blogging a bit but we're not bitching about our life or trying to get
attention so we should be fine. Threads probably gunna 404 soon anyway.

>20°F is crazy, I don't even know what that'd be like
Yea, when I lived in Idaho (about 8 hours east of Portland) it got down to about 0° , but it
wasn't horrible. Just layer up a bit and if there isn't much humidity or wind it's actually fine.
I guess over here in the midwest it can either be pretty fine or just absolutely shitty, like
fucktons of snow and cold as fuck. Guess we'll see what this year is like.
>My dumb ass thought you literally worked at a graveyard for a minute. Good that you have some
cash, what's nighttime freight?
Haha yea, I've gotten that a few times in the past from international people, so I'm used to it.
By freight I mean the people who come in to unload shit off trucks and stock shit from the back /
warehouse or whatever. I dunno exactly, would be a new experience but I just decided to study a
year at a language school in Japan next year so I'm just gonna do some shit like that until then.
Tired of working all the fucking time and being stressed out, gonna try to get by with time to
spare for once, see how it works.
>Threads probably gunna 404 soon anyway.
If it does rip in my memory anon, good talking to you. Glad to chat with you, hope your night
goes well.
