with a keyboard like this, aren't they just essentially replicating a MIDI? Not that it doesn't
take skill, but what are you getting out of it sound-quality-wise?

Ironically, due to the amount of sampling and refining of instruments, you can often get better
sound out of that versus your average real life instrument. When it comes to the high end,
excellent quality instruments, it sound like ass, but it's better than a lot of instruments, even
up to upper-mid tier.
