I started smoking marijuana when I was a senior in high school. That was about 2 years ago, I'm
20 now. Pot was fucking amazing when I first started using it, but now it doesn't do much other
than make me stupid and hungry.
Slowly I realized that pot really isn't good for me and my interests. I had plans to pursue an
academic kind of career and as such my ability to think clearly is of critical importance. As I
am sure you know, weed makes you forgetful and it clouds your mind and your judgement.
It's hard to stop. All of the dopamine that is released into your brain when you get high makes
it addictive and moreso if you engorge your munchy hunger. I always tell myself that I will not
satisfy the munchies that night, yet I always do.
Keep trying man. Maybe you should take a vacation, travel somewhere. Get away from the drugs.
Find a new source of joy.
