It's do to the size of the pics used. Most artists are over sizing their artwork, animated gifs, &
swfs which I think it's a waist of space. Why make an art pic over size 2000 by ???? when viewing
it on PC, game systems, & tablets when it's clearly doesn't need to be that large of a size? An

A bigger resolution is good for resizing/stretching to different resolutions.
The retardation here is using VP6(a decade old shitty codec) when there is h264 available.

Thing is you need to use a trick in order to use H.264, on paper flash actually only support VP6
when embedding the video inside the flash. Very few people know how to implement the trick so it's
understandable. VP6 is not THAT bad either, it just needs more bitrate in order to look good.
