Good luck. I finished Dark Souls for the first time lest week and jumped straight into DaS 2, I'm
finding it a lot harder.
>>3194190
I found the Ruin Sentinels pretty easy, those gargoyles were fucked though.

I always ragequited pretty early (at the second boss with the ballistas) maybe because everytime
you die you lose 10% of your health until you use human effigy which is a pain in the ass
also I played DaS 1 and 3 numerous times so I'm not a "casual"

>you lose 10% of your health until you use human effigy
That's what I've been finding makes it hard. You either fight at half health so you don't mind
making mistakes but parts of the game are frustratingly hard or you use effigy's and get annoyed
every time you die.
Hopping I'll have a way to farm them later so I don't have to stress every time I die in a game
about learning from your mistakes.

Theres a ring you can get early on that halves the health loss from hollowing. Since you have 4
ring slots and a lot of the early game rings aren't very good it's quite useful.
What I find most difficult about DaS 2 is the dodging. Enemies can track you much better and you
have to pump adaptability to get a comfortable window of invincibility on them.

>leveling adaptability ever
Its no worse than DS3, and more enemies have bigger blindspots. If you ever have problems with
PvE, the answer is always strength build. A large club or a claymore trivializes just about every
regular enemy.
>>3194204
Summoning people makes it easier. In general if the boss looks like a big, heavy dude, summoning
to toggle aggro is usually helpful, since they're poisemonsters meant to sponge and deal back big
slow hits. Also, I get the problem with starting out with no estus flasks, but effigies are
numerous. And you can always just small white soapstone to easily reclaim humanity.

Fuck this game and fuck everyone who pretends it's fun. I'm a veteran of the Souls series
starting with Demon's Souls and I've beaten Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 along with
Bloodborne. I have beaten the DLC and on NG+. Dark Souls is widely known as the most difficult
video game series and having mastered these games, I consider myself an excellent gamer who can
meet challenges head on and triumph over them.

Against the Pursuer, try just rolling around and not attacking for awhile. Observe his actions
and get a feel for his attacks before you start trying to hit him.
He has a surprisingly small moveset, and everything is very telegraphed.
You can also use the ballistas in the arena to blast him, but that's kinda gimmicky and might be
hard to pull off if you don't have a summon helping you.
