despite the autism this poor girl seems to have, this isn't a bad beginner tutorial.

You can still use Adobe Flash (now called Adobe Animate) to export to HTML5 or simply export to
rendered video files.

I've been wondering, is there another program that has taken over animation?

Toon Boom and After Effects, mainly. Though some studios still use Flash. Toonz is possibly an
up-and-comer, now that it's open-source.
None of them have looping instances or programming like Flash does though.

So, you can't make small games and music loops, for example? That really really sucks.
I hope that one of them, will allow for programming, at least.

Doubt it. They're geared for animated videos, not for programming and loops. There really is
nothing quite like Flash, which is why I'm disappointed it's gone so out of style.

Isn't it due to Apple it got out of style?

iPhone most certainly had something to do with it, since it's never been Flash-compatible. But
along with that video eventually became better quality compared to Flash, and to this day it's
full of security problems. Apple isn't solely responsible.
>> [_] Anonymous 11/30/16(Wed)20:30:24 No.3183428
Video will never beat Flash in quality, since Flash is a vector format. It has infinite
resolution.
