Got no idea about the last half of your post, I can't decipher Britistani.
As for the first half, my friends understand when I buy them their gifts a week or two later,
since we're all broke. So I just buy the gifts for my family online when the shipping's cheap, or
at the flea-market for artsy shit or at walmart for extended family

That's actually what I am intending on doing as well.
There's only a few things I will be getting at christmas because they're not really things that
can get any cheaper on average, outside of sudden sales.
The longer I wait, the more risky that becomes in me losing 7 years of data.
A few random electronics components for experimenting and building with Raspberry Pi too. They'll
never really change in price.
Most expensive things I am planning is blender, UPS and HDDs.
MAYBE a pressure cooker as well. Those things just save so much money when cooking takes a long
time. (such as large curries, soups, broths, etc.)
It would save quite a bit of time and money around here and make some damn tasty food too.
Friends stuff will mainly be games on Steam or other platforms.
We usually buy a game or two in each others wishlist. (optional shitty DLC for games nobody has
and cost pennies/cents)

Hopefully. Not even sure what to get extended family or shit.
Probably do the same, artsy fartsy crap, or gift cards at shops they like. (because apparently
money means "no thought", despite gift cards being 100% the same... )
Trying to cut down on money in general so I can save money to put in to stocks.

becomes a third world country.

Friend already made £18,000 off stocks over the past year and a bit. (admittedly he does work IN
finance, but he is still self-employed)
Being poor is suffering. I'm done being shit and poor. Fuck that noise. I could have made a few
thousand already just by watching the FTSE100 over the past month.
