It's a "cellular automata", the oldest and best known, Conway's Game of Life. There's a simple
set of rules to determine if a cell lives or dies.
If a cell is empty, it becomes alive if it has exactly three living neighbors. A living cell
stays alive if it has two or three neighbors.
It can be used to do all kinds of crazy stuff like build Turing machines and generate prime
numbers.

I did that too. It'd be cool if the game was pause-able so that I could draw a glider easier, and
if I could speed it up.
>>3165195
Oh shit.

how long can you guys last before you just start racing your cursor across the board wildly?

holy shit
I've seen the matrix things before, but a conway matrix, holy shit I love this
