That's how it goes, sadly.
Worlds pretty fucked up.
This isn't even getting in to worldwide human trafficking of child sex slaves. (and adult)
Happens in all kinds of seemingly civil places because there are a FUCKLOAD of loopholes and
blackmail that goes on in the travel industry.
A common one is "we'll kill your family unless you play ball and come with us".
Get them on drugs, doped up, addicted, they become slaves to the drug and will never want to run
away again.
As I said, worlds fucked up. This isn't a movie, it's real life.
People get trafficked all around the world, especially to the US, UK and Europe. Far easier in
Europe since it is all solid landmass.
Travelling over border control regions and airport security isn't impossible, since again loads
of loopholes even in there for travel. (one of them has been used to bring illegal immigrants to
the UK via Ireland, for example)
