i killed him with the 3 islands full of samurai.
on the first attack send your samurai into his ranged line and just before you reach the boss,
use the freezing power.
this should kill all hi ranged dudes, next attack pull your units all the back and wait for his
soldiers to reach you. just as you're down to your last couple of dudes use the zeus resurrection
power. this should kill all his melee units.
then on the last attack he should be on his own, just send your dudes in and they should finish
him off.
it took me about 10 tries before the rng worked in my favor.
