Just got back from a 3 day ban for posting sacrilege... some people have no sense of humor, I
don't care. Fuck you all.
Anyway, it gave me some time to play with this.

Actually, it turns out the text was in fact contained in an XML sheet elsewhere on the site, and
it was indeed captured in the Wayback.
So I copied the XML, put a copy on my webhost, decompiled the flash, and rebuilt it with the new
URL (and stripped out a ton of unimplemented code, including the comment submission form inside
that was never used).
I took the liberty of correcting old spelling errors, removing and updating the 2005 "news
names", and adding a ton of new slogans and items.
This one is Actionscript 2.0, Flash 8. Currently working on rewriting the code in AS3, and doing
some other stuff with it. Ideas welcome.

Doesn't seem to work for me, brah. Just spinning circles here.

Really? Thanks for the feedback. It's working fine for me here using a remote XML, Not sure why I
can get that domain and not you... I'm in the middle of writing a new URL loader in AS3 for this,
maybe that should do the trick on your fancy newfangled computer thingies.

Same for me

Just checked from another browser, and yeah, no good. Weird it works fine from FF and not Chrome
on my machine.

Tried this using Pale Moon (FireFox alt), Chrome, and Edge.
Clicking Mr. Advertisement gains one a wink animation and a *ching* sound, which works in all
browsers. However, that's all it does on my end. Whatever element you're trying to load on the
right isn't working.

I decompiled it and saw this link

41fb/resources/slogan/
are we supposed to be logged in in order for this flash to work properly?
and when you checked from different browser were you logged in as well?

Man I was the one who made that post, thanks so much for doing this!
One thing though, that dropbox link doesn't work -- you have to create a publicly viewable link
in order for other people to have access to it.
I tested it in Flash Player 11, Chrome and Internet Explorer and none of them work.
