I suspect this mp3 was created for the flash loop, I know we have at least one guy on /f/ making custom music for his flashes. If he hadn't even settled on an artist name when he made this he might have changed the song's name if he later released a longer version, so could be pointless to search for "when the moon falls". >> [_] Anon 3460355 the swf metadata contains the word "cras", maybe that is his flash making nick but he wasn't sure if he wanted that to be his music making artist name as well

File: when_the_moon_falls.swf-(2.15 MB, 768x368, Other) [_] /r/ inside Anon 3290978 Could someone please help me find the source of this audio? Resizing the flash doesn't help - the track was unnamed when the flash was made. The wiki doesn't help. Googling the flash name doesn't help. This is the sort of thing that really triggers my autism - I hate it when these sorts of things disappear down a hole and nearly stop existing altogether. I don't know if this track actually exists anywhere on the internet other than this flash.

Use flash projector, that's what finally worked for playing local swfs for me. https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/fl ashplayer/updaters/26/flash_player_sa_lin ux.x86_64.tar.gz I was able to get a browser plugin to work prior to that but unable to play local stuff until I got projector installed. >> [_] Anon 3265373 If by "my swfs" you mean flashes locally stored in your computer (as opposed to the ones here or on another website) and you're using firefox, then this could help: https://askubuntu.com/questions/478169/w hy-cant-firefox-run-local-swf-files It worked for me around 7-8 months back, then a firefox update rolled and it hasn't worked since. Maybe you'll have better luck. If that fails I know for a fact that both konqueror and chrome work fine for offline swfs, but at that point you might be better off with what >># said. >> [_] Anon 3265374 If you want to play your flash files locally, have a look at the program Gnash. That usually works for me. >> [_] Anon 3265377 Why the fuck you won't use Windows and just be done with it, I'll never know, but your problem has been solved thusly. >> [_] Anon 3265392 What do you use to view flashes on android? >> [_] Anon 3265425 >># >Why the fuck you won't use Windows and just be done with it Not everyone can be Polish. >> [_] Anon 3265445 >># Flash Player? Also, Boat Browser if viewing /f/. Note that it is buggy as shit though. Focus issues mainly. And an old version of flash. (I think like, single digits, not even V10 or over) If there is keyboard interaction, you can sort of do it with virtual keyboards by using keyboards that let you open them anywhere. Hackers Keyboard is great for that. But it will be painfully slow, not for actiony keyboard-based games, just typing. >> [_] Anon 3265453 >># >Not everyone can be Polish says the guy riding into a tank battle on horseback. If you can't see yourself because your mirror is broken, don't blame Windows. >> [_] Anon 3265455 >># I have installed a flash player but I can't open flashes saved in the device for browsing purposes I uses puffin but I can't browse files with it like with chrome or firefox on android and I can't open .swfs with it as well I'll try the boat browser >> [_] Anon 3265465 >># What file browser do you use for browsing Android files? I've used both TotalCommander and Fx and both work with saved flash files in Flash Player. Of course, I also installed a web server and moved all the flash files there. Easier to open in browser and generally more functional. Plus, with it in the browser, you can embed your files in an HTML page then anchor an HTML div over the top of the page so you can resize the page if you need to zoom in. (admittedly only ever used that on Flockdraw) Biggest issue, especially with Flockdraw and Drawball, is it doesn't work too well with tap and hold. In drawball it is even worse because the flash size is fixed at a certain resolution, which is SMALLER than the screen of my tablet. When it is like that, it scrolls the whole UI based on where the mouse is, but the flash player on Android doesn't work well enough to be able to detect hovering a stylus over it, so the instant you click, the whole UI centers on that click. Shits jarring as fuck man. Not that it matters, Drawball is basically dead now. Chaosball is RIP and Drawball is a wasteland. Good night, sweet prince. >> [_] Anon 3265467 >># I'm using ES file explorer pro but you can browse the files with chrome when you type file:///sdcard but sadly chrome doesn't support swf so it only downloads them (from my sdcard to my sdcard smfh) and when in ES file explorer I choose "open with..." it doesn't show the puffin browser icon which can play all the swfs I tried I'll try total commander and see how it goes >> [_] Anon 3265474 >># Tried Boat, doesn't work with local browsing sadly. Can't even send a file from a file-browser to Boat, doesn't show in the list. One thing I just tested was opening it in an app I use. It's called Floating Apps Free, has loads of apps that can float on top of stuff. One of them is a floating browser. In TotalCommander, I hold-click on the flash file, then Send To, then Floating Browser. That works. Sadly it doesn't let you browse from the address bar. But this works 100%. Floating Apps Free is also really fucking useful too. Has image viewers, simple paint editor, flashlight accesss, browser, countdown & stopwatch, calculator, sound recorder, etc. The paid version has some other shit, like social sites and stuff. Free version is top-tier though. >> [_] Anon 3265479 >># >says the guy riding into a tank battle on horseback. if they carry armor piercing anti-tank rifles it's both super effective and cheap. which is what they did. >> [_] Anon 3265485 >># what's supposed to happen when you send it to floating apps browser from total commander? because it doesn't do nothing >> [_] Anon 3265486 >># Loads up in the floating browser for me. Do you have flash installed separately from browsers? The manual process in https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/ installing-flash-player-android-devices.h tml I think it requires it being installed to work. >> [_] Anon 3265490 >># yes I have fun thing is it shows the flash icon, the red F, on it but it doesn't do shit >> [_] Anon 3265498 >># Weird, that doesn't make sense. Not sure why it would be doing that. Weirdly, I don't even see the Flash player in the list. My flash files, by default, somehow open with Jump VNC viewer lol wat Android is hands-down the worst fucking OS man. Such a disaster. Shit is so broken all over the place. The new system that is rolling out in the most recent Android is too late, the entire ecosystem is fucked with loads of different outdated versions on top. I can't see it lasting much longer. I think Google will replace it with a new OS. Android is too fucked to fix. >> [_] Anon 3265500 >># well it's hundred times better than iOS I'll just have to figure out another way to play it, that's all >> [_] Anon 3265501 >># See, I used to think that, but at least iOS is cohesive and consistent. Android is just full-retard most of the time. Only advantage Android has over it is the fact it is open source. (and rootable to install said alternatives) But even that is becoming nothing because many handset manufacturers have been making it nigh impossible to root. Google seem hellbent on anti-rooting Android too, which is worrying since they (bought and) built the thing up. I'd still never use iOS though. Fuck that babby OS. They can pry Floating Apps and Sketchbook from my cold dead hands. >> [_] Anon 3265504 >># >They can pry Floating Apps and Sketchbook from my cold dead hands. and all the porn apps and I don't mean those shittily made porn games but mostly crumby and tachiyomiEH >> [_] Anon 3265505 >># I've actually not got any installed. I mainly just use my tablet for drawing, remote controlling PCs and taking notes, maybe doing some code here and there, and watching or listening to stuff. I mean, admittedly I do have some stuff saved on external SD card, weird shit from /d/ mostly. (and even then, that is mainly for drawing reference) >> [_] Anon 3265506 >># >># >># >># >># >># >etc. etc. etc. Yep, Linux really has it all together. Not like that shitty Windoze, or even Mac-n-cheese... basic shit like flash and native file handling simply Just Works. what fun is THAT? >> [_] Anon 3265508 >># To say that is the fault of Linux is wrong. Linux is the basic foundations of the OS. Android is the shitheap built around Linux with is horrific file structure, process model and so on. Purely the fault of the Android devs. Even most Linux distributions aren't as fucking retarded as Android is.
