I'm baffled by this. If I see somebody having something whispered in their left ear, and I hear
something whispered in my RIGHT ear, that's not a direct relation. To put it simply, those are
different fucking ears. Have you ever encountered a mirror before, or faced another human being?
Their right and their left are opposite mine. If the audio appears to be entering the left ear,
it ought to come out of the left earcup: if it doesn't, the association that (seems to be)
intended falls flat.

This is not how brain works. People who have lost an arm sometimes may have "ghost feelings"
where they feel the need to scratch their lost arm, and they can trick their brains by looking at
the mirror and scratching his other arm.
The last guy is supposed to be a mirror of you watching the video, so it only makes sense that
you will hear on your right ear.

I don't think you understand. My headphones are on with the L cup over my left ear and so on.
The image shown by the animation shows a guy with the ghost over his left shoulder, facing me: in
other words, the ear of his that's on my right. The audio that plays comes out of my RIGHT
earcup. That's not a mirror image.
