>ISPs would prioritize HD video streaming and cut off the news and Facebook
lel, one of the biggest reasons that the ISPs wanted to end net neutrality was because Netflix
was taking up something like 60% of all internet traffic.
HD video is going to get slashed hard and shit like Facebook and the news will be totally
unaffected.
On one had I don't like that the corporations would be able to decide what gets the bandwidth,
but on the other hand, normal fags getting fucked over and not being able to watch their shows
makes my dicc hard as diamonds.

The video doesn't make it clear, but I think they implied he was excited about Comcast's HD
internet videos

>Netflix was taking up something like 60% of all internet traffic
no way that netflix would account for 60% when youtube's around, if anything youtube accounts for
60%. Maybe you meant 60% of a certain ISP?
>>3229570
as far as i know it's already too late on the "sell browser history thing", the slippery slope
has begun

i don't think thats comparable
pay tv and "free tv" can exist next to each other but if the ISP(s) abailable in your area limits
the bandwidth you are fucked no matter what you want to do
