It's good so far. I think we've seen almost everything in the promo.

Didn't knew it aired already thanks OP

It's been over 15 years but they still target the 15 year olds.
I know nothing's orbiting around me, or my peers anymore but I thought it would be more mature.
Oh well into the work tomorrow we go

I mean... uhm... I watched the first 5 minutes of the second episode and made a hasty judgement
I guess they'll just sneak in some comedy relief characters, just didn't think one of them would
  be Aku

While I agree it would have been better if Aku had stayed on the phone until the final episode,

Not sure I've ever seen Jack kill a human. Last episode he slit a girl's throat. Before then I
think it's all been robots, monsters, or implied deaths.
Also, I think you should give Aku time; maybe he was a goof for just this one episode.

  >>3226362
Yeah, and they had scene of a woman giving birth in the first episode. I think they made it a bit
more mature but making it too mature would have changed the show

>> [_] Anonymous 03/19/17(Sun)21:27:30 No.3226366

In the original, Jack sometimes had bloody scratches, no blood drops or pools of blood though. ¶
Aku's in a rut it seems from that episode, it makes sense that he isn't as intimidating. I was
actually surprised that he didn't kill at least some of those mud people. He'll probably be back
to normal before the show ends.

It's valid punctuation, which is used for starting a new paragraph. Also that example below
without the pilcrow doesn't look as good.

  I'm mixed.
on the one hand I love the action, style, and scene direction genedy is famous for and a manly
action cartoon is refreshing in this day and age of noodle limbed tumblerites and family guy
  style sitcoms.
I'm conflicted because jack was always great as a shining, positive beacon of hope in a grim
future and always came across as light hearted. The new suicidal, depressed, fearful gun toting
  jack is a bit concerning.
The show is done so well and is hard not to enjoy but I feel bad for what they've done to jack's
character, even if I'm enjoying it all the same.

  >>3226330
he's giving fans more of what they liked but without holding back like he had to before.
watch all those episodes where jack is covered in "oil" and you'll get the idea of what gennedy
  really wanted to do.

>> [_] Anonymous 03/19/17(Sun)21:49:20 No.3226376

You mean that barbarian guy? He's not shown to be dead or not a robot; in that show at least 60%
of the people he fought turned out to be robots.

>> [_] Anonymous 03/19/17(Sun)21:51:08 No.3226378

  >>3226374
I think that while it's still pretty heavily implied he killed them, they're still only implied
deaths. Definitely not quite the same as slitting a girl's throat with blood splatter in any case.

  >>3226334
agreed, they overdid Aku's goofiness a bit
