very true, as usual the book is better.
Why they felt the need to turn the ecchi factor on an already pervy humor manga up to 11 is
beyond me but it ruined what plot there was and was generally just obnoxious.
definitely a weird manga in that it changes genre half way through.

my quads had already proven that the manga was better.
FLCL was just typical gainax with it's pretending to be deep and meaningful. It was mostly paying
homage to many classics, including daicon IV. They were just testing out their new studio and
having fun.
