If you pay attention closely at around 0:46 you can see gordon freeman speeding by and launching
off with the gauss gun in the background

This guy sounds really confused.
>Man created more order than God did when creating the world
But if you say God created the world then you're saying God created you, with all your faculties
to put together "order" as you define it.
>Hypocrite as you are, you trust the chemicals in your brain to tell you they are chemicals! Will
you fight? Or will you perish like a dog?

He's clearly speaking hypothetically.

He's assuming his audience's idea of "God" is the same as what his idea of "God" is.
When you have created no personal idea of "God", by forming the entity of "God" in your own head,
it is rational to believe as he does.
When you have your own idea of what "God" is, well...the possibilities appear to be infinite.
Such is the nature of "God".

You're autistic. Jesus Christ. How do people like you even function in society?
>> [_] Anonymous 04/17/17(Mon)02:56:26 No.3235236
If you change the word "autistic" to "creative" a lot of posts here make a lot more sense. Also
"autist" to "person that is clearly more creative than me at this particular skill they are
displaying here and I'm just not going to take the time or the openness to say any of that so I'm
just going to use this word to admit that I believe you to be better at this particular skill you
are currently displaying than me, and that I am just not strong enough to tell you my true
feelings because I have my own internal issues that I'm dealing with but I could be a really nice
person if I put some effort into it, I just have to believe in myself and your post certainly
helped put me in that direction so thank you".

Creative people tend to have a very difficult time functioning in society. The more creative they
are, the less they wish to participate at all. They often find something to entertain themselves,
making art in the process of course, whether that was really their intention or not. They are
deeply troubled, not finding solace or peace in what is, constantly striving to make that which
will bring them inner peace, whether they realize it or not. At times, many times, they will
decide that they've created enough, and that they still haven't made their magnum opus. Because
of course, they never do. They couldn't! It goes against the very nature of their being, to be
finished, to be complete. To have given all that they ever will. So they sleep. They sleep for a
long time maybe, but one day they wake up. They wake up and create once more.

>it's a biologist/physicist tries to make profound theological/philosophical assertions episode
honestly, any theologist or philosopher would tear him to pieces, i don't understand where we're
suppose to think that these people have good ideas in this realm of thought because of largely
unrelated skills

Because of? No I don't think people usually think that at all. They may get caught up in the
presentation though. But, oddly enough, there does seem to be a large presence of those who think
negatively when going the other direction. As in, someone discussing such theological things in a
more optimistic light being expected to be poor at hard science, or just "dumb" in general. Which
I understand why to a degree, but it gets to be just a little bit silly at times. Almost like
people have a very shallow and limited grasp on an entire subject and assume that within that
space there is all the evidence required to deny learning any more and to condemn those who chose
to pursue the field further.

that's the thing. also the reason people think god doesn't exists, because society hold their
noses over others' and their ideas.. kind of ironic, isn't it?
