Seems to me that a good safety device for divers working in an environment where pressure
differentials are a possible hazard would be something that can act as a perfect seal in their
stead that can be detached and allow the diver to extract themselves.
Such as a harness that is worn and can be removed if a diver becomes trapped, maintaining the
seal.
Wouldn't work for the cases where limbs are trapped first or when the size of the hole is as
large or larger than the diver but it would have helped with a number of the casualties
illustrated in the video.
