It's an OP of an anime where a bunch of kids are told to pilot a giant robot and kill the pilots
of other giant robots, or aliens will kill them and their entire planet.
Piloting the giant robot will drain their life energy and kill them.
If they don't kill the enemy (another kid on another world), then their world gets blown up.
If they kill the other kid, the other kid's world and billions of people on it are killed.
The aliens can't be fought.
In the last episode, the enemy kid doesn't get in the fucking robot and hides in the city because
he doesn't want to die from piloting the giant robot, so the final kid from earth has to murder
an entire fucking city in cold blood to save Earth.
It's a really grim anime.
