Oh come on guys, it isn't that bad. I went into Graphic Design so I learned how to make
advertisements and proper formatting of company brandings. More importantly I learned how to code
websites from scratch. I've done odds and ends work for small cash but it's not the business I
want to get into right now. I need a lot more networking to make it a feasible way to live.
First day at the glass shop went good, talking to human beings is going to be a change of pace
for me but I need it desu.

I'm currently in college to get a degree in graphic design.
Is it worth? I hate it here so much, but is it worth it in the end?

Hahahaha oh god. Y'know I started out a 3 year GD program and I really wanted to do it (still do)
and near the end I was just the same as I started, wanting to make a graphic design business on
the side of whatever I'm doing at the time. I like a live in the moment lifestyle.
Anyways we started out with close to 200 people and the graduating class was around 60. A lot of
those who graduated didn't like it near the end, it was funny as all hell this one chick did a
presentation near the last weeks of school and she was so done with GD she was like, "Here's my
fucking stupid dieline, for this stupid fucking custom postcard I made, took me six hours of my
life I'll never get back, ISN'T THAT JUST GREAT!". She was better than most the class skillwise
and spoke the minds of about half the students.
What it comes down to is really what you want out of it.
Also protip: the degree is worthless, you're basically paying to take tutorials in person and get
a decent portfolio. The more you try in school the better your portfolio will be and that's all
that matters.

Yeah after I sunk 10k into it first year, mostly on residence, it was only gonna cost me 14k to
finish so I was like ehhh whatever
