I think chrome updated and now flash is only allowed "ask first" Although even though chrome is
still allowed to play flash on this site. It keeps trying to DL the flash instead of opening in
browser. Same for flashes on the HDD. :/

I think this is chrome's click to activate "feature" that was forced upon its users.
A quick overview of what I remember going through to play a flash before switching away from
chrome.
-allow flash to become embedded globally instead of downloaded
-each time I open a flash, click the "allow just this once" button since there wasn't an "always
allow" button
-click the play button to then view the flash
IIRC you couldn't even play flashes you've stored locally on chrome.

Try a current Firefox plus Flash plugin. It usually takes just a single click per browser session
to enable.
