Uh you missed the general unraveling of 4chan and an exponential flood of faggots. Moot is dead, /f/ is mainly shitty youtube rips now and not much OC. I'm sure you could have guessed this already. >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)14:29:41 No.3274880 >>3274877 outside of moot being dead (though I assume you don't mean literally & he's just been off the grid hunting rare STDs to acquire as he is wont to do) that sounds like nothing has changed at all >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)16:44:41 No.3274914 >>3274880 moot sold the site. >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)16:52:45 No.3274915 >>3274875 If you didn't like Thursgay I wouldn't celebrate so quickly and more Trump posting than you ever imagined >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)16:53:50 No.3274916 >>3274877 is right but flash compatibility is dead in a few years so doesn't matter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65crLKNQR0E >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)18:14:00 No.3274926 >>3274916 I was about to make a thread and post this video in the description. Just saw it and as someone who grew up watching and playing flashes on newgrounds it feels bad man >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)18:19:35 No.3274927 Donald Trump is the president of USA. It's amazing. >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)18:50:06 No.3274931 Tripfagging has been almost completely eliminated in non-insular boards, while namefagging has seen a resurgence. Things are in balance, and the 'death of flash' has actually brought a lot of new posters to /f/. None of them know what 'lurking' is. Classic exploits and abuseable shit are largely fixed, and mods show up once in a blue moon, which is awful. Recently there have been nadzis and gommies fighting in the streets, an eclipse covered most of the U.S. over the course of 8/21/2017, and these little things called "fidget spinners" sparked the most obnoxious toy fad since the early 90s. There's been a few big political controversies, and the hot topics at the moment are: >Freedom of Speech & whether "bigots" (real and imagined) should get it >Border control & whether or not borders are racist or something >North Korea & how its increased aggression should be handled Similar debates are enrapturing image-boards & elsewhere and you can't fucking get away from them because political agitators from both sides are 100% convinced (and with some justification) that the internet got a TV show guy and/or real estate guy elected president. Any and all journalistic decorum is not only shredded but gone, and 'Obama was born in Kenya' is no longer the dumbest anti-presidential conspiracy theory floated on live TV. As far as everything else is going, it's OK, really. There are a few videogames that shook things up, but they differ based on who you ask. Minecraft in particular ascended from 'big game' to 'an industry into itself', although it lost a lot of steam over 2017 thus far. Tabletop gaming is having a small renaissance, and the VR concept returned and flopped within a few years, now it's on life-support. There's been a few huge events that helped reshape other boards like the Fappening, Flat Earth returning to prominence as the biggest conspiracy theory that isn't muh Russia and so forth. Welcome back, and don't forget: you're here forever. >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)20:23:34 No.3274959 in addition to what that other guy stated traffic to 4chan has increased a substantial amount due to gamergate and the 2016 election because of people mentioning it a lot. >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)22:24:35 No.3274999 >>3274926 http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-08-03-why-the-spirit-of-flash-gaming-must-never-die >> [_] Anonymous 08/23/17(Wed)22:29:36 No.3275005 >>3274931 >North Korea & how its increased aggression should be handled Why the fuck are Americans so obsessed about countries half-a-globe away from them. Just stay home with your shit orange president and burn your shit coal. |
