To start lets just get this out of the way. I know I neglected to post a poll this season
regarding the roster of the team. This is mostly due to realizing too late that Smudgey got eaten
by the IRL whale and me being too froggy about posting 4CC stuff on /f/ since I'm not wanting to
get hit with another year long ban for my troubles. So this is my best shot a clever disguise.
Yes it's not all that clever and rather blatant as well but I feel like an asshole being silent
this whole time while trying to get my shit together for the season.
The good news is that I'm actually feeling really good about some of the tweaks I've made to the
export as I've seen some really promising things out of some changes I've made to the setup while
there's still a few things that needs fixing or alterations. Granted I have less than 12 hours to
figure out such things but in PES there's only so many things you can improve before you see
there's other improvements required elsewhere. Hindsight is a bitch in this regard. But the one
major tweak to this season's roster I've made is the release of Heap of Trouble in exchange for
the now free agent of Billy Herrington. Thursgay is big enough on /f/ to warrant a pair of reps
and while Billy and Van do have differences between each other they can get behind one another in
midfield and work hard to help the pump out goal after goal.
I know PES 17 hasn't been my strongest showing in my time as a manager but I took time to help
test with Smudgey through spring so hopefully my knowledge of the game grew with his during that
time and I can assure you guys that I'm not taking another crappy gamble on a 3-4-3. It wasn't a
bad formation but straying away from what made the team decent to begin was probably the biggest
mistake of the winter season.

Well I don't quite know what people are running just yet but the important thing is to have a
decent baseline. Testing only tells you so much since the PES AI is stupid so one test your
players will be gods and in another using the complete same thing they're suddenly playing like
dog shit. What I can say is this, the setup I've been working on is very flexible to where we can
drop players back without much penalty if we need to hold a lead and get aggressive when it needs
to be. But at the core of it all it's still mostly down to RNGesus. I wont know how to try to
weigh out the dice until we find out what group we're in sunday. But the setup will allow us to
change up from 4-3-3 to a few different formations.

As far as I know he's been busy as hell up until yesterday I hadn't exchanged much words with him
about tactics/exports since Spring ended. I tried getting a hold of him a while ago regarding
polls but he never responded. He did alert me of how busy things were gonna get for him over
summer which is the main reason I came out of retirement.
Which is also why I wanna take this moment to reach out to anyone wanting to help out the team in
some kind of fashion. Be it testing, aesthetics or otherwise. With Discord getting popular I just
might make a channel on there but I'd much rather communicate with the board even if it might net
me a ban.
