guys please can somebody repost the fix for swf files not being played from your hdd after the
new firefox update? i just saw it in a thread earlier, some option you had to change in
about:config, right?

firefox isn't working for me either. Just getting a white screen.
Except it's kinda weird, I use two firefox profiles, and it works in one and not the other - they
are supposedly identical so I am not sure what might be causing it

actually more pissed at Kitteh6660 for not making it file savable on windows 8 despite continuing

I had this problem for a while.
I have a solution:
1)go in about:config
2) search for "plugins.http_https_only"
3)make it "false"
4)reboot firefox
