I wish more retards on both 'sides' of this artificial race war would understand this concept. There are simply more attractive light skinned females than dark skinned ones in fiction (for several reasons) so the male in most works are darker skinned for the purpose of contrast. I mean: Name me more than a hand full of hot dark skinned females in fiction. I get Yoruichi, Shantae, Korra and that's pretty much it... And guess what they are usually paired up with in porn.
