Doesn't work in Firefox, or Opera, or anything else that supports PepperFlash or HTML5. It's a
security "feature" built into every browser that supports the standard, that makes it impossible
to play Flash in your browser from your own computer, or on any site that sends the .swf file to
your computer before playing it. You can only play Flash files that are in some other location on
the internet, that isn't in the 192.168 or 128.0.0.1 domains.
Pretty sure only older versions of Mozilla and Microsoft Edge still support playing localhost
Flash content.

It's amazing to me how some people manage to write so much bullshit while sounding halfway
credible. I didn't realize you were bullshitting until you went full retard with the IPv4 private
networks (fucking lol'd at "domains")
Anyways kiddos, latest Firefox plays local flashes just fine once you disable the http protocol
requirement for plugins by setting plugins.http_https_only to false in about:config.
>> [_] Anonymous 04/17/18(Tue)08:50:29 No.3329915
The essential plugins experience:
plugin.load_flash_only;false
plugins.http_https_only;false
dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled;false (true for 64bit browser)
It's sad, but firefox long doesn't work right for me out of the box. Best get used to that
about:config if you want to un-fuck your browser from time to time.
For me, it died when they introduced that cool new style that is totally in sync with touch
controls ftw.

>dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled;false (true for 64bit browser)
That setting has little to do with the browser image being x86 or or x86-64... and Mozilla
doesn't even offer 32-bit images of firefox.exe anymore. Do they still have 32-bit crap available
for lunix or why did you even imply anyone would use x86 Firefox these days?

if you're going into about:config, consider changing to some of these options too
https://github.com/RamiRosenfeld/Rosenfox/blob/master/About-config_Short_manual_en-US.md some of
them are downright creepy to leave on.

>written by some slav tinfoil hat
What the fuck man. There's some valid privacy stuff in there so I can't be sure if you're just
shitposting.
>> [_] Anonymous 04/17/18(Tue)11:33:30 No.3329950
>>3329949
I'm not shitposting, although I don't disable javascript completely; use noscript or umatrix
instead. Disabling a page to set it's fonts can have unintended consequences and removing the
spellchecker would be rather tiresome. But do you want to have telementry or anything else that
might identify you?

Firefox literally plays flash files if you disable the right about:config option.

>But do you want to have telementry
Yes, I fucking want to send all the telemetry I can, participate in Mozilla's test pilot
programs, actively participate in the Firefox development where I can, etc. Do you even realize
why firefox UX has gone shit? Because many power users (already a small minority group) disable
telemetry, practically all the usage data mozilla's getting comes from normalfags.
>or anything else that might identify you?
I'm very concerned about online privacy, but I know what I'm doing. Not a tinfoil hat who
disables shit without even knowing what it implies. You're afraid of bogeymen you don't
understand. Your IP address alone is far more identifiable than few bits of browser entropy
collected from shit like user-agent strings and weird http referer settings. The funny thing is,
highly customized browsers are actually more identifiable because they deviate from the masses of
normalfag browsers. Or maybe you don't need to worry about your public IP being connected to your
ISP; instead you're paying a VPN company to let them log all of your internet traffic. Who knows.
