>> [_] Anon 2277743 >># Wait this is satire right? It has to be. Right?
>> [_] Anon 2277748 >># It's subtle, but if you're familiar with the history of the evolutionary theory, then it's clearly satire. 1) "Pepper the Moth" is a reference to "Pepper Moths". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peppered_mo th_evolution 2) "Giraffenstein" is a reference to giraffes. Obviously. Both Pepper Moths and Giraffes were cited as strong points of evolution, and were the heavy inspiration for the development of the theories. The person who made this flash chose them for this express purpose.

>> [_] Anon 896091 >># It's hilarious how far creationists go. It's insanity. Science can bring television, cellphones, computers, get humans to walk on the moon, the internet and more and yet is 100% wrong on genetics, biology, geology and astronomy? Also the flood never happened, not a shred of physical evidence where you would expect to find it.

>> [_] Anon 896142 >># Science is not about opinions. It is about empirical evidence. There is no such evidence for anything these people have to say. Creationism is a baseless theory that is accepted out of "faith," the very opposite scientific procedure.
>> [_] Anon 896143 >># Two opinions but whilst one is based on observing phyisical evidence and consistant results from experiments and drawing logical conclusions the other is "Fucking Magic!" Take a guess which is which. I'm gonna go on a limb here and say that science has won again.

>> [_] Anon 896252 SONE OFF VABITCH FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
>> [_] Anon 896264 >># According to that idea, nearly every single species alive underwent extreme mutations and changes over time. And somehow all these freaks of nature--no pun intended--all survived instead of the others. It doesn't make sense so assume every freak survived and almost none of the in-betweens did. For instance half human half apes. Supposedly they're smarter and better able to adapt than regular apes. Yet there are none. We still have apes and humans. If they're so much more suited for survival why didn't they survive and apes die out? There should be at least some left. Random mutations and evolution can only explain minor scale changes when you take the whole earth into consideration. Even if one species changed drastically, they couldn't all have that much luck. The earth would have to be a very small place for adaptations and changes to affect even one entire species.
>> [_] Anon 896271 >># Um. Because they weren't strong enough to compete with apes, and weren't smart enough to compete with humans? That's kind of how natural selection works, you know. Species that aren't the most specialized to any niche die off fairly rapidly. There's plenty of places where small mutations can find niches of their own - the Galapagos Finches are the best example, and the one that actually inspired Darwin.
>> [_] Anon 896276 >># You speak with minimal knowledge about evolution. Every species that exists is an inbetween state between one race and another. Fossilization is an extremely rare event for anyone, and only happens in specific circumstances. On the comment of humans evolving from apes, this is oversimplified. What humans evolved from went extinct. The primate and ape species you see today evolved along side of us, and we all share ancestors at some point or another. Furthermore, evolution is about designing species through natural selection. For every successful evolutions, there are likely an untold unsuccessful evolutions that stop within a few generations or less, further preventing the possibility of finding fossilized specimens to study. As >># stated, species die off swiftly as soon as a superior species comes along. You can see this in action by introducing pigs and rats into habitats they do not originate from - the indigenous species are driven to extinction.
>> [_] Anon 896290 26KB and a decent shitstorm. Excellent.
>> [_] Anon 896291 >species die off swiftly as soon as a superior species comes along Any "half" species" isn't as inferior as the one below it. Smart apes should still be around, right? I can't see why they would all die off when they're still better able to survive. They could form more complex social structures, or migrate to better food sources, or monopolize one, or aggressively kill off the others (like we do). They seem to have every advantage. But there's still dumb apes, to put it bluntly, and humans. The other problem is the Galapagos finches, as mentioned. There can be small groups, but fans of evolution often claim that it happened all over the world to nearly everything alive. It's too much of a leap in my opinion at least for them all to be so radically altered and yet have none of the middle class remain. We should see evidence everywhere of species that have changed and become somewhat superior to another, if it happened so many times already.
>> [_] Anon 896294 >># continued An example may be us humans. There's so many kinds of us, with greater or poorer survivability and intelligence. Animals should be somewhat similar. Some should be smart, and others not. If apes can survive, smarts apes should be able to too. I mean, to get away from all this seriousness, look at niggers and americans. Somehow they still survive to this day.
>> [_] Anon 896299 >># Evolution has no goal in mind. There's no such thing as an inferior species, only those more or less suited to a particular niche. When times are good, there's lots of room for unsuitable adaptations, and species thrive and multiply. Then an ice age comes, and the herds leave, and people starve, and if you can't fight the apes for a cushy spot in the forest, and you can't keep up with the humans on the plains, you're *fucked.* That's what happened to the apelike hominids.
>> [_] Anon 896300 >>It's too much of a leap in my opinion at least for them all to be so radically altered and yet have none of the middle class remain. We should see evidence everywhere of species that have changed and become somewhat superior to another, if it happened so many times already. Your opinion isn't worth shit. Every species alive is so because it is the most motherfucking badass example of its type, and have ground the competition into the dust. Your evidence of inferior species is in the fossil record. It IS the fossil record. You're demanding proof without knowing what the fuck you even want, and you're too happy with your ignorance to look for yourself.
>> [_] Anon 896307 >># The flood is a fakt. It's also proofed by sience. They also found the remainings of the arc btw. And no, thats not a troll and I'm not an creationist.
