  yeah... people aren't usually alone anymore, and when they are it's because they have a hard time
  making friends too. which means they will blow you off, to see who will work for their
  friendship. They put up walls to see how hard you will try to get over them. If you have zero
  confidence in your ability these rejections will hurt hard core. And only people who are nice
  will let you in, and eve then you have no idea if they are just being nice or not.

  Making new friends is hardly this easy.
