Holy shit. Way better than the first one. I'm making beats like no one's fucking business.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/01/09(Tue)17:41 No.1129027
Meh. You can't copy/paste them like the first one, so no.

on that note, i was never able to save the first tone matrix, but they are both still awesome, if
only for a fleeting moment.

so you cant add bars right?
>> [_] Anonymous 12/01/09(Tue)20:45 No.1129095
Son of a whore--I just put all this effort into making a beat based on hospital equipment, and
the cocksucking program doesn't save/share/etc. How hard would it be to just make an alphanumeric
'code' that you copypasta anywhere that just tells the program where to put the dots? With the
word 'matrix' in the name, you'd think they wouldn't fail at math...
>> [_] Anonymous 12/01/09(Tue)21:10 No.1129119
I was able to downroad it and play it using a program called SWF & FLV Player. Still can't savee
though, or I haven't figured it out yet.
What do the bottom almost-circle symbols do?

Fun fact: Using binary, you can save exactly what grid you used in a single number.
Just assign each square the value of (64 - (2^n)), where n is the number in which it plays. For
example, the first column of 8 would be numbered 2^63, 2^62, 2^61, 2^60, ... , 2^56. The next
column would be 2^55, 2^54, 2^53, 2^52 etc.
Now, if a square is turned on, add the corresponding value. The entire top row
would be 2^63 + 2^55 + 2^47 + 2^39 + 2^31 + 2^23 + 2^15 + 2^7 = 9259542123273814144 in base 10,
or 8080808080808080 in hexadecimal.
This number can be converted to binary, or 100000001000000010000000100000001000000010
0000001000000010000000 where you can really see how the formula works.

The shortcut being
1) Start
2) Run
3) Type "calc", hit enter
4) View > Scientific
5) Click Binary mode (Bin)
6) Type in your song from top to bottom, left to right (1 = note, 0 = blank)
7) Click Hex
8) Share hex code with your /f/riends.

i drew a penis, resulting beat didn't sound too bad really
>> [_] Anonymous 12/01/09(Tue)22:50 No.1129165
the great thing about this is that you can be perfectly random and still manage to form a solid
beat.
