i shut off my media computer connected to my tv and go out of town over the week-end
when i come back i get DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
the pc was fucking turned off, all disks are found in the BIOS. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

all that was wrong was the disk boot order in BIOS. why did it work for months up to this point?
just reinstalled my OS for nothing and have to reconfigure it, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

boot order before you fucking reinstall

i was in there looking and thought it looked a little weird, but in order to change the boot
order i neeed a keyboard with a numpad (for + and -) and i was on one of those rubber keyboards
that you can fold and since it worked before i didnt bother (why would it suddenly make a
difference, as i said i hadnt done anything like "update my BIOS", i wasn't even in town). damn
computer magic
but at least one of the encrypted drives hadnt broke like i initially thought, thats a relief.
didnt lose 1 TiB of movies phew

Lol you should probably change the little button-cell (not sure of the english name for it?)
battery on your motherboard. Your bios probably reset because it needs power to remember its
