sinnfreichans 4th loop. The music should now loop (almost) seamless. Howether, i originally
planned on a different track. I'll post that one later.

Should I continue making these flashs? Or are they just boring?

  I liked it =)

OP here. Which one is better? This one or >>1189267

  OP again.
So if you want to make a flashloop with CS4, do this:
  1. Create a new actionscript 3.0
  2. add a gif to the library and, if you want to adjust the fps later and do backward-looping like
in here, delete the symbol in the library (top right)
  3. Activate Snapping, add the first frame (it's the filename-bitmap, funny), click modify (top),
  Document, click contents
  4. Hit F6 (creates a new keyframe), and add the next pic to it at the exact same position as
  before (snapping helps)
  5. Repeat step 4 until every picture is inserted (do backwards if you want)

  6. Use audacity, cut out a music piece (zoom in for beatfinding) which should loop perfectly in
winamp after export (i.e. you can't hear any gaps) - be aware: when exporting, export to wav!
mp3-export with lame adds silence (gaps) to the file, destroying perfect loops
  7. Add Wave to library
  8. Click Layer 1 (our only layer - every frame should be selected by that), go to properties,
choose the wav under sound, choose loop instead of repeat and choose Start as sync
  9. Edit publish settings, deactivate HTML (not useful), change the mp3-settings for Flash (both)
to 128kbs, best quality and deactivate mono (many idiots fail this)
  10. Hit F12 to preview the published file, Shift + F12 to publish the file itself. Adjust the
fps, so it fits the music

one last hint i forgot: Select all bitmaps, rightclick properties, choose compression with jpeg,
  activate smoothing.

that's where many many huge-sized quality fails derive from.

If I'd have known it would be this kind of party, I'd have brought potato salad.
