>> [_] Anon 3178641 this reminds me of watching the 2011 The Thing after the 1982 The Thing in 1982 it was a mostly male cast, and it was cool because they made rational human decisions, and displayed proper emotion throughout it. they would be horrified, but they react in the proper emotion that they should, and when horrible things happened regardless of their good decisions, it made it that much scarier. it was perhaps my favorite movie ever. in 2011 it was fucking shit. it raped the story of what happened at the Norwegian facility, and it was only, ONLY a single woman who was the only voice of sanity, leadership, and godly coolheadedness (all to be attributed from her bachelors in biology from a Florida universe), she only had a single face the entire movie, and spent her time saving people and the whole human race, the CGI sucked, the acting sucked, and it spit in the face of the 1982 movie. they, in what i can assume to be a total joke, fix their whole butchering of the story in a short post-credits scene that made no sense. i fucking hated it, and it all came from their desire to make this one woman badass that made no sense.
