doesn't matter if chrome stops supporting flash, there will always be alternatives and even if
flash itself dies gnash can still play some loops (though no games, and not all loops work sadly).

try as you might, you will always be a poser. put down the cool aid.

swfdec works fairly well too.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be maintained anymore, and I had to make a few patches for it to
compile on my system.

it matters because it moves flash firmly out of mainstream. one by one the thousands of flash
gaming sites will close due to loss of traffic. one by one the flash porn artists will stop
publishing swfs. one by one all the loop makers here on /f/ will stop bothering.
it will literally be like the amiga scene. a couple of people that still cling onto something
that 99.9999% of the planet has forgotten. so it matters.
god damn shame too because the swf format is really precious. instead of abandoning it it should
be merged into the browser, just like a browser natively reads a jpg today. sandbox it, require
no plugin and it would be golden.
