I've been pretty fucked up since then anons, but she told us that she just wanted to be
forgotten. How can I forget when she seemed so nice? How am I supposed to let this go?

Don't let it get to you lad.
You're very limited on what you can do to help someone over the internet.
As the first anon said, people come and go.
The greatest lesson one can learn is that you can't save everyone. As morbid as it may be,
accepting that fact will help to calm you down, and then the main thing to focus on is that you
really, truly tried to help them. If you did, you did the best you could.
If it's really getting to you, channel your frustration and grief into helping the next person
you meet who is down on their luck. Not that I wish for you to be put into such a situation
again, but everyone has their own problems, and your experience can help you help others.

It wasn't that long ago when we had a german guy who said he was offing himself and left his
personal info, think it was near the beginning of last year. Some anon called the polizei and
they confirmed he was missing in the news next day, dunno if it was the same guy or if it was
real but it's something to think about
