It's been said before but it's true. If you're under thirty, people still look upon you as a quirky late-bloomer type. After 30 if you're not successful, you become genuinely odd, irredeemable. You're a person people treat with white gloves, not even a manchild. They won't even look you in the eye. If you're here, that definitely applies. Hurry Anonymii, there's still time for you. >> [_] Anonymous 11/17/18(Sat)05:35:41 No.3368529 >>3368463 what happens when you're over 50? cause like... I was 30 when I started this computer shit. >> [_] Anonymous 11/17/18(Sat)06:06:24 No.3368534 >>3368529 Doesn't apply to gen x as much. The millenial generation is held to absurdly high expectations of productivity, that's why there's so much more criticism when they don't do what is wanted of them. I was born in the mid eighties but I feel more like the tail end of your antiquated pre-net culture, hardly anything in common with those born in the 90s. A contributing factor is that I literally don't know anyone else my age, the people around me have always been older. >> [_] Anonymous 11/17/18(Sat)06:17:23 No.3368535 >>3368534 80's that was the decade of extended childhood. And then the 90s hit, and you could get away with still being a kid in that era because it all blended together. The early computer age. And then came the bush years, and the beginning of 4chan and the like. And you either had kids and were moderately well off, or you didn't, and lived in parents basement or attic or something or other. And now it's nearing 2020, and your parents are near dead. Friday night is ending. >> [_] Anonymous 11/17/18(Sat)11:56:30 No.3368568 >>3368534 What I don't grasp why people in my generation just go with it. I know far too many people my age that are stuck in dead-end or mini-jobs. What are they doing? They fuck each other up and gossip behind each others back. The fuck happened after their teen years? Most of the people I knew got more and more rotten and aggresive over time. Curently I come far better along with people in their 30s, than in my age. |
