This flash got me thinking whether it sounds better as "I never had sex with beedrill" vs "I've
never had sex with beedrill." We really don't learn enough about the nuances of English in
classes here in America, instead focusing on analyzing literature.

That being said, I love erotic and funny flashes like this.

  "I never" isn't grammatically correct.
Trust me, I'm an English pro.

well those two sentences mean two different things
the first means you never had sex in the past and never will have sex in the future
whilst the second means that you might have sex in the future

  I wish I had a Beedrill irl. :(
Although I primarily always wanted to get fucked by a Charizard.

Because the nuances of English are best showed through good literature. You can learn a lot from
dissecting a sentence by a quality writer.

I assume it's called that because Game Grumps called their girl character "I never" in their
  Pokémon FireRed series.

Well, if you use a "had," referring to all of the past, like in "I've never had sex with
Beedrill," you need that "have" there.
"I never had" isn't correct in this instance. Referring to a single instance in the past,
however, like "I never said that," it would be correct to not have a "have."

Something I grappled with a long time in High School was the difference between:
I can take my panties off.
I can take off my panties.
What's the difference? Are both correct? I'll never know.

"I never had sex with beedrill" is denying an assumption that you did for some specific
instance/period have sex with beedrill, such as if you were accused of it, or if you had through
prior conversation implied that you had intended to (e.g. 'in the end, I never had sex with
beedrill'). You could potentially use this even if you have had sex with beedrill at some point
so long as it was not during the period in question.

"I've never had sex with beedrill" is a general statement, meaning that you have at no point had
  sex with beedrill.

  >>3332890
So, if beedrill had broken up with you, but you wanted to make up with him for some time, you'd
say "I tried hard, but I never had sex with beedrill"?

  You'd make an excellent woman.

  >>3332892
Well, for this sentence structure it would be more appropriate with something like "I tried hard,
but I never managed to have sex with beedrill", as it completes the first clause ("I tried hard
... to have sex with beedrill").

You could, however, say "I never had sex with beedrill, even though I tried hard."

Either way it should be established prior what period of time this refers to.

>> [_] Anonymous 05/01/18(Tue)18:02:16 No.3332904

  3 things:
"I never" is the name of the character
  The Beedrill's name is Bundt,
Do you think the animator that did the sfw animation did this nsfw animation? Or did the creator
of this flash did a great job on copying the style?

Hardly a battle, people are just discussing it. The whole thread has been surprisingly civil.
