We really don't learn enough about the nuances of English in classes here in America, instead focusing on analyzing literature. That being said, I love erotic and funny flashes like this. >> [_] Anonymous 05/01/18(Tue)10:24:32 No.3332830 >>3332829 "I never" isn't grammatically correct. "I never had" isn't correct in this instance. Referring to a single instance in the past, however, like "I never said that," it would be correct to not have a "have." >> [_] Anonymous 05/01/18(Tue)15:11:45 No.3332873 >>3332829 Something I grappled with a long time in High School was the difference between: I can take my panties off. You could potentially use this even if you have had sex with beedrill at some point so long as it was not during the period in question. "I've never had sex with beedrill" is a general statement, meaning that you have at no point had sex with beedrill. >> [_] Anonymous 05/01/18(Tue)17:34:25 No.3332892 >>3332890 So, if beedrill had broken up with you, but you wanted to make up with him for some time, you'd say "I tried hard, but I never had sex with beedrill"? >> [_] M-Non 05/01/18(Tue)17:47:05 No.3332895 That shitty moment when porn turns into a battle about proper grammar. >> [_] Anonymous 05/01/18(Tue)17:53:52 No.3332901 >>3332890 >never >You could potentially use this even if you have had sex with beedrill at some point so long as |
