Me again!
Still lurk here, still working on the system to use the flash plugin post 2020.
i actually have plans to tackle site locked files and private servers for multiplayer flash but
we aren't quite there yet, though an important piece of the puzzle is almost complete

as for the software,
so far most of the major bugs are gone and soon we may have the features needed to keep using
flash as normal once the app is complete, plus a few extra features to help back up the more
complex flash content!

wait, wen you say "app" do you mean a program outside the browser?

yes but this could be controlled by a browser plugin.
This "plugin container" will be developed closer to 2020 because changing browsers will break
compatibility while Win32/Wine&ReactOS architecture will remain the same.
So same flash DLL as produced by adobe but we are working on something that lets you use it.
The planned "browser extension" would solely be tasked with downloading the SWF copying the data
from the HTML and sending it to the app.
it could either be launched in a popup window or the browser could just be rigged to produce text
files with the SWF URL, relevant metadata etc the app to be loaded upon program launch.

i dun goofed
>>3360851
I meant to say browser extension rather than plugin since browsers will still allow modification
and extendability even after they drop plugins.
what features we will have then is yet to be seen, so THAT'S the part that will be postponed
closer to 2020.
the app is being developed now, i hope for a release next year!

okay sounds a little strange but as long as it means swfs are playable in the browser im fine
with it.
please dont call everything an app, "app" is a sandboxed program running in something like a
phone. call it a program like a man. and no app is not just short for application, the meaning
has changed. screw windows 10 for starting to call everything apps, fuck using that term for god
damn programs.
but i digress, sounds like you're working on:
1 a browser extension that detects an embed pointing to a swf
2 the extension the downloads that swf and send it to a program
3 your program loads adobe's flash plugin and runs the swf
4 your program transmits what is being displayed in your program (the rendered flash) back to the
browser extension
5 the extension then renders the flash using canvas or something like that on the webpage
6 clicks and keystrokes within the canvas are captured by the browser extension and are sent to
the program and then given to adobe's plugin as inputs

Minus is coming back?!?!?! I NEED TO BUY A NEW PRINT IF THE SITE RETURNS DANGIT.
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/18(Tue)01:20:25 No.3360864
Hey, OP, or anyone else, rather: anyone have Minus' work saved? I didn't really have a proper
place to store things back in 2011-ish when I first discovered this shit, and when I finally went
back to it, I was sad that the website had disappeared.

at the current moment in time i am just working on something that will work like the projector
but have extra features related to online content.
so the first component will be a standard exe,
the second a browser extension
the application will have features that allow another app(such as a browser extension) to utilize
the flash player.
i mentioned this on the

and newgrounds Flash 2020 and the future
