[_] /r/ help inside rtard 3478099 Is there a way to make symbols variable in AS3? I want the user to select one of lets say 4 static images in the first frame and then the image they select would be used in the actual animation in the following frames. I tried to put all 4 images into the frames of one movie clip symbol and have the movie clip gotoAndStop on whatever image was selected but I can't seem to pass the variable established outside the clip to the clip itself. If none of this makes sense I can try to clarify further and in case it wasn't obvious I have no idea what I'm doing.
