A timer wouldnt make a difference. It'd still be the same size and quality. You're better off using keyframes and the timeline. But hey. You're probably just looking for a reason to bitch and I could just use the Cancer Tool instead like the other garfielf stuff.

The difference between importing the video directly and using images is mostly the quality. With imported video you have to lower the bitrate to have <10MB and it looks shit. I think the only way to have a true Garfielf swf would be to 100% make it in Flash and not use MSPaint images.
