It behaved strangely for me only during that time in which swfchan was blacklisted on Easylist (like closing the site and not the ad tab). That said, there's a lot of bogus shit going on with the advent of no-more-plugin-firefox and now there's more ads popping through. They get closed or not loaded though. Might even have to transit to Waterfox, which still allows addons. Also, if that whole telemetry thing isn't configurable in original Firefox, in Waterfox it is at least, so that's a plus too. On a sidenote: Didn't the admin specify the exact script that you had to block that serves the ads? Might be on .com though and not on .org.
