They used to last for about 12 - 16 hours. Zeitgeist isn't the only outlier, there's also the
more recent gay spam, potato knishes, and so on.
/f/ has always been a slow board, and the phazing out of flash is what's killing it. You don't
see too many creators using flash anymore, and those that do upload to their Patreons, or still
just use Newgrounds like they have been since 2001.

What are the plans for when flash is kill again?
I don't really understand what you can do as far as archiving flashes goes or whether or not you
can update them to HTML 5 or whatever. I understand why it's being phased out but that's about it
really.

/f/ is the best board no question. It might be slow but it's precisely because of this slowness
and the reposts that it has maintained it's culture mostly alive so far. And it's always a good
place to come to if you just want to chill for a bit, on top of having the best music taste in
the entire damn site.
