he's not a complete fuckup, he admitted himself that he will release swf for interactivity
but not knowing how to handle frames (goes up to 100 fps I think?) in a format he produced in for
10 years is kinda bullshit
welp, he might have been a flash god, but he just jumped onto the flash bandwagon because it was
a popular thing to do back in the 2000s
and now that flash is but a relic of the past, he bailes for the "superior 4K"
I won't repeat the countless advantages of swf over video here, or why he should at least still
release the swf regardless, because that's been argued to death since everyone went apeshit after
the Adobe anouncement 2020
but to add insult to injury, just look at all the replies on that tweet
all of his mindless followers z0ne aggregated since his rise in popularity after skullgirls
became a thing, they all don't know shit or care fucking nothing about the format he was most
known for
I mean, I'm by far no technical expert on the swf format, but if you can't comprehend words like
framerate, 4K, vector, Adobe After Effects, then why would you congratulate zone on this "very
revolutionary and wise decision"

just saying that zone who still work and creates his stuff in adobe flash/animate ill-advisibly
exports them to mp4 instead of just doing what's necessary to keep them in swf format
instead of needlessly bloating a maybe 40mb animation to over 400mb, probably over a gb in 4k
and still have pixelation in the process

Flash is useful if you're used to using it, but only so much can be done with it. Sometimes,
After Effects or other things will be better suited for certain tasks, and tons of time there's
stuff that Flash just can't do that every other application does easily. so of course zone would
want to use whatever tool he/she/they (he) could to make videos for the masses, instead of
appealing to the maybe hundred people that still come to /f/.
Who the fuck does it serve to release an SWF if it's restrictive to work natively in SWF from
start to finish? Demanding that is like demanding a composer release everything in GM MIDI
compatible format.

You clearly don't know what a stem is. In any case, my point is that demanding SWF is like asking
a composer to ONLY use midi information to make their track. Midi is certainly part of it, but it
means you're arbitrarily limiting them from using any other processing like eq or compression,
etc. Also it's just kinda rude.
