How does it feel to live in a world where Flash is dying yet Javascript lives on?

The issue with Javascript is that it is still inherently useful, and much more lightweight than
adding on shit like JQuery or other unnecessary CDNs. The problem occurs when site developers
misuse Javascript, essentially slowing their site to a crawl with autoexecuting code. Javascript
can be incredibly useful for everything from simple slideshows, forms, and/or page functions. A
lot can now be done with HTML5+CSS3, but Javascript fills in the blanks and allows for more
powerful development without shifting into PHP or tacking on bootstraps.
