Happy Saturday night!
I've recently finished watching "maoyuu maou yuusha", The Hero and the demon king. It's a hidden
masterpiece. I sunk deeply into the world and had an amazing experience with it.
Besides rewatching some nichijou and monster musume I started watching yuasa's new series
Eizouken. Yuasa always delivers so I'm just along for the ride the combo of traditional, 3d,
raster, and vector, is nuts and brilliantly executed. I find it really funny that they used
raster digital animation to create the concept art world. I find it really sad that the main girl
uses being a filmmaker as a replacement of real adventures. I hope that by the end of the series
through her advantures she learns that they are both important activities.
I feel that a filmmaker who uses filmmaking to fill a hole where his adventuring spirit is can
only make film about things he never got to do. And even if said filmmaker can make great art off
of that he'll still not be happy.
